Homeless young people or those at risk of becoming homeless in Luton are being offered additional funded support from this month. Relate Bedfordshire & Luton has been awarded an extra six months’ funding to continue its ‘mental health clinic for young homeless people at the TOKKO youth space, Luton.
The importance of relationships for health and wellbeing ‘The Best Medicine’ is Relate’s campaign to show that relationships are critical to the nation’s health and wellbeing. Evidence shows that good quality relationships with partners, family and friends can prevent, delay or minimise the effects of physical and mental health conditions.
Eight groups of young people from Bedfordshire pitched their social action campaign ideas, aimed to improve various issues across the county, to a room of 100 local business, education, public sector and charity professionals in March.
